As Desjardins Group's Senior Project Investment Strategy Advisor, you lead a multidisciplinary ecosystem of collaborators to drive the Business sector investment prioritization and monitoring process.

You will be part of a team that makes recommendations pertaining to the investment portfolio's multi-year trajectory and the selection of projects that call for analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination is critical, so you interact with a large number of stakeholders working in a variety of fields. A cooperative mindset and interpersonal savvy are therefore essential.

You serve as a specialized advisor and subject matter expert in your field, act as a contact and influence decision-making bodies at Desjardins Group (e.g., Management Committee, Board of Directors).

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

  • Implement the organization's project investment strategy and use your in-depth knowledge of the business environment and Desjardins Group's strategic planning to guide discussion

  • Identify the changes required to allow the organization to play its full role in investment planning and monitoring

  • Work with the various stakeholders to develop key performance indicators and criteria to support investment decisions

  • Improve the process and establish success factors for validating project investment requests

  • Monitor and develop best practices and standardize work methods among teams to ensure cohesion and synergies within the organization

Other working conditions

  • Workplace: Currently regular telework because of the pandemic. Position located in Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in implementing project investment plans

  • Experience in developing performance indicators and/or dashboards

  • Experience in making presentations to executive members

  • Experience in consulting on strategic mandates (an asset)
