Accounting Analyst

As an Accounting Analyst, you will :

· Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable;

· Make daily entries and reconcile accounts;

· Perform complex bank reconciliations and monthly tax returns;

· Perform accounting analyses and undertake special projects;

· Prepare month-end files;

· Support the Payables and Transactional Department;

· Review certain sections of financial statements;

· Participate in the preparation of year-end audit files;

· All other related tasks.

Requirements and qualifications :

· Accounting background;

· Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position;

· Comfortable with all sections of financial statements;

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

· Ability to work in a team, good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills;

· Attention to detail, thoroughness and focus on needs and results;

· Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously and prioritize;

· At ease with new technologies;

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;

· Knowledge of AS400 an asset;

· Experience in retail, an asset;
