The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We’re looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.

The Bell Media Revenue Reporting team provides consolidated advertising sales reporting and analysis across multiple lines of business. Incumbents will be responsible for querying and extracting data from multiple source systems, providing consolidated reporting and value-added analysis for multiple internal stakeholders, in addition to playing a critical role in all aspects of financial management.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Generate consolidated reporting from multiple sources
  • Streamline and automate the reporting processes within the team in order to provide higher level of service to business units
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis to various departments under tight timelines
  • Identify and provide reports and analysis based on current and future business requirements
  • Work with internal business clients to design and develop new reporting requirements within evolving software and database infrastructure and business needs
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of monthly results package – including variance commentary, analysis and other insights
  • Assist with the tracking and recording of various strategic contracts
  • Prepare financial management reports for Senior Management and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results
  • Partner with revenue management, various finance primes and other internal stakeholders as needed in the development of the monthly forecast, 3 year plan and annual budget, including building a driver based model
  • Assist the team in the full financial cycle from planning, forecasting to results - Responsible for month-end closure activities, including journal entry review and processing, accrual reviews, et
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required with a focus on business & financial studies or applied information technology
  • Experience in analytics and process improvement
  • Working experience in the Broadcast or Media industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – notably Excel, Power Point and Excel Add In (ThinkCell)
  • Strong data manipulation and data mining skills, with an acute attention to detail
  • Knowledge of BCE financial tools and systems (BPC & SAP) (Asset)
  • Strong computer experience, business intelligence tools and database queries
  • Autonomous and disciplined self-starter who can work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
  • Good understanding of the broadcasting/Media industry
  • Strong organizational abilities and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Strong leadership and communication/presentation skills
  • Ability to work overtime as required by the business
  • Manage a number of projects simultaneously, prioritize issues and meet tight deadlines
