OTT Communities seeks a Project Manager to join its design and development team located in Toronto. As a team member, you will be a part of a highly collaborative environment and work on mid to large scale Planning, Urban Design Architecture and Interior projects. The ideal candidate enjoys developing new skills and has an interest or experience in working on the development of lifestyle-oriented community projects in Canada.


  • Work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the project process;
  • Coordinate with consultants for design, drawings, permits, etc;
  • Prepare and oversee the project budgets, project financial accountability, contract, schedule management, safety, quality controls and assurances as well as related internal and external reporting;
  • Work with VP, Real Estate Development, Stakeholders and Senior Leaders and acquire and direct the necessary resources for project teams;
  • Develop detailed project schedules and identify major milestones for successful completion of the projects;
  • Prepare estimates for planning, organizing and scheduling project work;
  • Manage the tender process, able to do tender analysis and make recommendation;
  • Responsible for managing the contract lifecycle for agreements negotiated with suppliers, vendors, consultants, contractors and other third parties; ensure that contracts are drafted and updated and in compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Support the real estate team with the contract administration required to initiate a contract and support the on-going management of the vendor through the lifecycle of the contract.


  • 7-10 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a record of completing full-cycle tenure of commercial or residential projects
  • Have good network with local consultants and trades in GTA
  • Value of project managed at least $50 million
  • Have a Bachelor/Master’s in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
  • Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large-scale construction projects – multifamily, retail, commercial, ICI.
  • Have a thorough understanding of both high rise residential and commercial projects
  • Must have strong budgeting and scheduling skills.
  • Proficiency in PM software, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
  • Knowledge and experience with CCDC, negotiations and close outs with builders.
  • Provide a brief list of project experiences and construction values.
  • A valid G driver’s license, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel to various project locations.
  • Willing to work out side of GTA (within Ontario)
  • Flexible work approach and willing to support the team wherever required network
