Director of Finance | Aurora, ON (4 Days Onsite) Lead. Build. Influence.

. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll lead the day-to-day accounting function across multiple operating companies while helping modernize systems, strengthen internal controls, and build a best-in-class finance tea
m. What You'll Be Do ingLead and mentor a team of accounting professionals across multiple operating compani es.Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close proce ss.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal contro ls.Provide leadership across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Inventory Accounting, Cash Management, and General Accounti ng.Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimizati on.Partner closely with operational leaders and the executive team to improve financial performance and support business decisio ns.Play a key role in an exciting Microsoft Business Central implementation and broader finance transformati
on. What We're Looking ForCPA designat ion.10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experie nce.5+ years leading and developing finance te ams.Strong controllership experience with deep knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operati ons.Experience within distribution, building materials, manufacturing, wholesale, construction, or another inventory-intensive environment is highly prefer red.ERP implementation or systems optimization experience is considered a strong as set.A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching others and improving proces
