Job Description The Controller works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial accounting and budgeting systems for BVCU and its subsidiaries. This role prepares monthly and annual financial statements, supports the development of operating and capital budgets, and monitors, analyzes, and reconciles variances across departments and branches.

The Controller oversees general ledger administration, statutory filings, reconciliations, and the maintenance of accounting systems. The role also contributes to strategic planning, supports business plan execution, and provides backup coverage for both the CFO and Manager Finance.

This position plays a key role in fostering a high‑performance Finance team by encouraging professionalism, strong working relationships, and alignment with BVCU’s Enhanced Service Commitment.

Qualifications Minimum three years accounting experience Professional accounting designation (CPA‑recognized)
