Duties Month-end process (post journals, depreciation, settlement jobs) Capital project accounting (Maintain Internal Orders and Order Groups) Balance Sheet account reconciliations, continuity schedules and account analysis Foundation billings for externally funded capital projects Update & Maintain SAP Fixed Assets Sub ledger Interim and Annual Audit requirements for capital reporting (e.g. UHN FS, HIRF, Provincial Consolidation) External Reporting (Statistics Canada) Enforce policies and procedures relating to capital spending Qualifications Completed or actively working towards obtaining a Canadian CPA designation Relevant work experience: minimum 3 years Experience in an accounting or auditing environment with exposure to financial modeling Experience with efficiency improvements Extensive knowledge of Excel Experience in a healthcare environment preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and communication skills Ability to take initiative and embrace challenges Computer literacy, required preferably in a Microsoft office environment, with an aptitude for learning new computer applications quickly Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive financial data and information Additional Information Why join UHN?
