As a Financial Advisor Lending within the Member Contact Centre (Call Centre), you will be responsible for understanding the financial goals of our members and supporting their achievements through a virtual setting. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products. As part of this role, you will specialize in all things consumer lending. Core business hours are Monday - Friday, including evening shifts. The preferred location for this position is within Saskatoon, Regina or Prince Albert, however other Conexus locations may be considered depending on space availability. Tasks:Provide account and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member needs:Memberships and accounts including lines of creditComplex consumer lending productsCredit CardsSafety deposit boxesMobile banking solutionsDay to day banking needsConduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and servicesIncrease retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfactionEnsure complete, accurate and timely documentationAdhere to security and operational policies, procedures and operational controlsEnsure healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability (e.g. through understanding and application of profitability margins in rate negotiation, fee subsidies, etc.)Positively represent Conexus internally and externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaboration Experience:2 to 3 years of Financial Industry experience in an Advisory CapacityExperience in underwriting and approving credit applicationsExperience in a Sales position is considered an assetCompletion of or working towards the Financial Planner and Personal Financial Services Advice designations
