Role Summary We are hiring a Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a large AI & Digital Transformation (ADT) program within one of Canada’s largest banks. This role is not focused on technical deliverables. It is ideal for a consultant who excels at: ✔ Program coordination ✔ Agile facilitation ✔ Stakeholder alignment ✔ Process streamlining ✔ Bringing structure, clarity, and rhythm to complex programs
You will work closely with BIICS leaders and bank stakeholders to ensure smooth, predictable execution across multiple workstreams.
What You Will Do Program Management & Coordination Bring structure, clarity, and consistency across 8–10 transformation workstreams. Standardize processes, cadence, documentation, and communication. Monitor dependencies, risks, and decisions across the program. Ensure teams follow an aligned operating rhythm. Agile / Scrum Facilitation Lead daily standups, sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and planning sessions. Coach teams on Agile practices tailored to the bank’s environment. Remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a central coordination point for business, data, technology, and leadership teams. Prepare and deliver clear status updates and summaries. Support preparation of leadership-ready decks (content specialists will assist). Maintain strong communication flow across the program. Governance & Reporting Maintain RAID logs, trackers, and governance artifacts. Ensure program documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready. Support executive reporting, decision logs, and cross-team visibility.
What We’re Looking For Must-Have 5–10 years in Scrum Master, Program Coordinator, or PM roles. Experience supporting large enterprise transformation programs (banking preferred). Strong facilitation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive alignment, simplify complex information, and bring order to ambiguity. Consulting mindset with strong communication and presence.
Nice-to-Have Experience with AI/ML, data, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives. Certifications: CSM, PSM, PMP, PMI-ACP. Prior experience with major Canadian banks.
Contract Details Duration: 4 months; likely extension of up to 6 months Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite, Downtown Toronto Rate: $60–$70/hr
