Director, DUCA Dealer Finance DUCA is looking for a Director, DUCA Dealer Finance to join our growing team!

Job Purpose & Summary The Director, DUCA Dealer Finance is responsible for the execution and performance of the Automotive Finance channel, including developing and leading a high-performing sales team, strengthening dealer relationships, and delivering against growth, profitability, and Member experience objectives.

The role acts as an expert in automotive lending space providing market insights and input to support channel strategy, pricing, and framework development. The Director, DUCA Dealer Finance leads a team and partners cross-functionally to ensure effective execution, strong partner experience, and alignment with DUCA’s risk and operational standards.

Key Accountabilities & Duties Provide market intelligence, dealer insights, and competitive analysis to inform channel strategy and decision-making. Support the development and refinement of scalable frameworks for dealer segmentation, pricing strategy, and product positioning. Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic direction. Deliver on established loan growth, revenue, and profitability targets for the Dealer Finance channel. Establish and monitor clear performance metrics and KPIs, including funding volumes, conversion ratios, turnaround times, and portfolio quality. Build a culture of accountability and high performance, ensuring consistent pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and execution excellence. Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and outcomes. Champion an exceptional dealer and Member experience, ensuring ease of doing business with DUCA. Build and maintain trusted relationships with dealership principals, F&I leaders, and automotive groups. Act as a senior escalation point to resolve partner issues promptly and effectively. Promote DUCA’s value proposition, brand, and service excellence across the dealer network. Lead, coach, and develop the Dealer Finance team, fostering a culture of high-performance and engagement. Set clear expectations aligned to DUCA values and leadership competencies, and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development. Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and team scaling as the channel grows. Model inclusive leadership behaviours, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Partner cross-functionally with Credit, Risk, Operations, Marketing, Retail, and Broker Services to deliver integrated solutions to ensure the effective execution of dealer finance programs and initiatives. Recommend for practical program improvements and solutions that balance growth objectives with risk and operational considerations. Collaborate on product development, go-to-market strategies, and campaign execution. Foster alignment across teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end dealer and Member journey. Partner with internal teams to support the efficiency flow of deals from initial application through to funding. Identify and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and service enhancements. Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and consistent execution standards. Promote a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Ensure team adherence to all activities aligned with DUCA’s risk appetite, credit policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong oversight of portfolio health, credit quality, and loss mitigation. Promote a risk-aware culture within the team and dealer network. Adhere to DUCA’s Code of Conduct, Ethical Sales Practices, and Market Conduct standards.

Occupational Experience & Education Requirements Degree or Diploma in Business, or related field 5-10 years in automotive finance, lending, or dealer financial services 5+ years people leadership experience managing sales or business development teams Proven experience driving growth and scaling distribution channels Experience leading strategic initiatives and organizational change Proven success driving business growth as well as establishing community and client relationships Knowledge, Skills & Attributes Strong understanding of dealer operations, automotive lending, and credit risk principle Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies Driving Results: Results-oriented with strong financial and operational discipline Relationship Focus: Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams Collaboration: Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional partners Risk & Compliance Mindset: Sound judgment with a disciplined approach to risk management Communication: Clear, concise, and impactful verbal and written communication Agility: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment Working Conditions Frequent travel within Ontario required (primarily GTA) to support dealership and partner engagement

Actual annual base salaries will vary depending on relevant job-related factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and education/training.
