You as a Assistant Manager, Treasury will: Review and approve payments to external vendors by ensuring correctness, accuracy and compliance with the organization’s policies and internal controls Prepare regular treasury reports related to bank fees, financing costs, interest earnings and debt balances and, through analysis and inquiry, identify and correct errors and explain variances Effectively work with and support internal business partners both within finance and the greater company Act as a liaison between the treasury function and external financial partners to deliver required bank KYC and debt compliance Provide ongoing supervision, direction and support to team of banking analysts ensuring that: Organizational standards are met for delivery and execution of requests for letters of credit, securing financing for capital expenditures, opening and closure of bank accounts and other banking administration needs Financing costs incurred and interest revenue earned are accurate and in accordance with the related agreements Deadlines for financial reporting to support month and year-end fiscal reporting are met Required internal controls and treasury and finance best practises are strictly followed Bank account balances are optimized to ensure that short-term excess cash is invested Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Other Treasury and Corporate Finance duties and responsibilities as required This is the right role for you if: Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting and/or global treasury operations Leadership experience including supervision, mentoring and performance management of direct reports is considered an asset Professional designation focused on Finance, Treasury or Accounting is an asset Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders Ability to meet deadlines in a complex and fast paced environment Leadership skills High attention to detail Analytical and financial analysis skills Proficient with MS Office Suite including advanced excel skills Strong knowledge of financial instruments, credit facilities and treasury best practices Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules Knowledge of cash management, financial analysis and risk management Familiarity with ERP systems Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is an asset The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 EllisDon is proud to provide this unique career opportunity that provides continuous learning, opportunity for growth, and a competitive compensation package within an environment that is committed to inclusion and respects diversity.
