Job Description What is the Opportunity? Reporting to the Team Leader, Accounts Payable, this role is responsible for accurate, timely, and complete processing of accounts payable transactions. Identifies and escalates issues for problem resolution. With a continuous improvement mindset, looks for opportunities for process improvement or fixing gaps/service issues within the accounts payable function. All responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the organization's Code of Conduct, Values, and Guiding Principles. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness. Ensure all accounts payable transactions contain valid information for input and identify and follow escalation protocols for transactions that do not. Follow policies and internal procedures/processes, ensuring all controls are met and adhered to. Participate in the identification and resolution of issues and concerns by helping identify the root cause of issues and proposing ideas to resolve them. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying, recommending, and helping implement solutions. Provide consistent and high-quality service within established benchmarks, contributing to the achievement of service levels (SLAs) and KPIs. Required Qualifications University or college degree or certificate in Accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in financial institutions or the banking sector. Relevant experience in accounting firms.
The expected base salary range for this position is $20 – $23 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
