Role Summary: The Investment Engineering & Analytics (IEA) group within the Capital Markets and Factor Investing (CMF) department develops and manages the data and analytics ecosystem for CMF investment strategies. The ecosystem includes foundational data, investment signals, production models, advanced analytical tools, and is integral to CMF's portfolio management and research activities. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join the IEA team to work directly with researchers and portfolio managers to support systematic investment strategies. The successful candidate will be empowered to take ownership of results and deliver end-to-end engineering solutions, from raw data to strategy implementation. Accountabilities & Qualifications: Accountabilities Contribute to the development of a quantitative investment platform with a focus on systematic macro strategies, which can include everything from building robust data pipelines, developing new analytics, and implementing strategies. Take ownership in the daily operation and provide support to portfolio managers to manage live portfolios. Participate in research meetings and collaborate with researchers to innovate and drive improvements across all aspects of the process. Champion high coding standards and help shape the architecture in an evolving AI world. Mentor junior colleagues to assist in their growth and development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in a related role within finance or investment management. Programming experience in Python/SQL and knowledge of production development processes and tools. Familiarity with factor investing, asset pricing, and modern portfolio theory. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
