Principales fonctions : Participe à la préparation des états financiers and autres rapports actuariels sous bases US GAAP et IFRS 17 Valide les données utilisées dans les calculs actuariels et produit des rapports de vérification internes et externes Assiste dans la préparation du rapport de l’actuaire désigné et d’autres rapports réglementaires Supporte la production de projections financières et collabore dans l’analyse et la production de rapports Représente le département d’actuariat corporatif dans certaines initiatives Accompli d’autres tâches assignées Qualifications: Diplôme universitaire en actuariat ou en mathématiques Minimum de trois examens de la Société des Actuaires ou en préparation de l’examen de synthèse AICA Forte connaissance et intérêt pour l’informatique et logiciels : MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle 0 à 2 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’assurance vie Bonne connaissance des logiciels AXIS est un atout Expérience en assurances collectives est un atout Aptitudes: Excellentes habiletés pour les communications et les relations interpersonnelles Solide esprit technique et analytique Sens de l’organisation et de la minutie Bilinguisme, français et anglais, oral et écrit, Maîtrise professionnelle du français et de l’anglais (écrit et oral) est requise afin de travailler avec de la documentation rédigée en anglais et d’interagir avec des parties prenantes anglophones. Bon esprit d’équipe Reporting to the Senior Actuarial Associate, Corporate Actuarial, the candidate assumes corporate duties in order to meet the departmental objectives. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the preparation of financial statements and other actuarial reports under US GAAP and IFRS 17 Validate data used in actuarial calculations and produce internal and external verification reports Assist in the preparation of the Appointed Actuary Report and other regulatory reports Support the production of financial projections and collaborate in the analysis and production of reports Represent the actuarial department on different initiatives Assist with additional requests and help other teams as needed Requirements: University degree in actuarial or in mathematics Minimum of three exams of the Society of Actuaries or preparing for CIA Capstone Exam Strong knowledge and interest for computer & software skills, MS Office, VBA, SQL, Oracle 0 to 2 years of experience in the life insurance industry Experience in group insurance is an asset Knowledge of the AXIS software, an asset Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid technical and reasoning skills Sense of organization and detailed-oriented Bilingualism, French and English, oral and written Professional working proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) is required to work with documentation written in English and interact with English-speaking stakeholders. Compensation Range: $69,700.00 - $87,150.00 Annual Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
