You believe that continuous improvement is always possible and enjoy contributing ideas that make processes better. How You’ll Make an Impact Report to the Manager, Mortgage Quality Assurance. Analyze preliminary funding requirements and documentation on assigned mortgage files. Review final solicitor reporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements. Audit mortgage set up information within the Wealthview Banking system to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Prepare and review solicitor instruction packages received from Underwriting Associates. Work closely with solicitors and law offices to ensure documentation requirements are met and land title registration requirements are satisfied. Ensure all solicitor conditions are fulfilled prior to funding and disbursement. Prepare documentation packages for final mortgage disbursement. Coordinate file tracking, follow-up activities, and documentation management to ensure mortgage closing deadlines are met. Forward completed files for digital imaging and processing. Investigate and resolve escalated issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain reporting and documentation records to support operational effectiveness. Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices. Collaborate with Underwriters, Underwriting Associates, brokers, solicitors, and customers to support the mortgage funding process. What You Bring to the Table You have post-secondary education in business, commerce, finance, business management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. You have a minimum of three years of mortgage or financial institution experience. You have strong knowledge of mortgage funding processes and documentation requirements. You're highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. You have experience working with banking and mortgage systems such as Wealthview Banking and Filogix. You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can effectively manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines. You have a strong understanding of accuracy, compliance, and audit requirements. Previous audit experience would be considered an asset.
