About the role
We're partnering with a well-established, mid-sized insurance organization to hire a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This is a newly created, permanent role with real influence over how the business sees and uses its numbers.
This is not a heads-down, build-60-schedules role. It's a modern FP&A and business partnering seat. You'll sit beside underwriting and operations leaders, walk them through monthly performance, dig into variances, and turn the analysis into decisions. If you like being in the room where the business actually gets shaped, you'll do well here.
What you'll do: Lead monthly performance reviews and variance analysis with business leaders Partner with underwriting and operations teams as a true financial advisor Build and improve forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning Standardize and automate reporting instead of relying on manual schedules Present insights and dashboards to senior leadership and the board
What we're looking for: CPA designation (CA or CMA ideal) 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related function Big Four training is a strong asset Strong financial modeling and the ability to translate numbers into plain business language Someone comfortable working with sales-driven personalities and building relationships A tech-forward mindset that leans on automation to scale
The setup: Fully remote across GTA Occasional travel within the GTA (roughly once or twice a month) Competitive salary up to $130K plus full benefits A growing organization where this role can evolve into something larger
