About the role

Position Description

We are seeking a Project Controls Coordinator with 2-3 years of experience supporting multiple projects within a Project Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will support project governance by coordinating project activities, managing project financials, maintaining project documentation, monitoring resource allocations, and supporting project reporting across both Project Manager-led and non-Project Manager-led initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong financial tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills. Experience with Clarity, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira is considered an asset.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Coordinate project activities across multiple initiatives. Support both Project Manager-led and non-Project Manager-managed projects. Track project budgets, spending, forecasts, and financials. Monitor forecast accuracy and financial variances. Prepare project status, financial, and risk reports. Facilitate project meetings and document action items. Maintain project documentation in SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira. Support Clarity Financial Management and user administration. Manage project resource allocations and updates in Clarity. Investigate and resolve project timesheet discrepancies. Perform PM audits and support project governance activities. Track project milestones, deliverables, and reporting deadlines. Communicate project updates with stakeholders. Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and reporting.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

2-3 years of experience in Project Coordination, Project Controls, or PMO support. Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in a structured project delivery environment. Experience tracking project budgets, forecasts, spending, and financial performance. Experience with project financial reporting and forecast accuracy tracking. Experience coordinating activities across both Project Manager-led and non-Project Manager-managed initiatives. Experience investigating financial or timesheet discrepancies and resolving reporting issues. Experience supporting project governance, audits, and compliance activities. Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and project tracking tools. Experience with Clarity Financial Management is preferred (training can be provided for candidates with strong project coordination experience). Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced PMO environment.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,000.00–$90,000.00. This role is an existing vacancy.
