YOUR IMPACT As a Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in enabling informed business decisions across OpenText's digital business organization. Partnering closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will consolidate, analyze, and report on financial performance while delivering insights that support operational and investment decisions. Your expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, planning, and business partnership will help drive long-term value, improve financial visibility, and support strategic growth initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence key business outcomes while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your ideas and analytical expertise can make a meaningful impact.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS Consolidate, validate, and report financial performance results, including P&L, operating expenses, headcount, variance analysis, and executive commentary. Partner with business leaders to support monthly forecasts, annual planning activities, and ongoing financial performance management. Prepare executive-level presentations, business cases, and financial analyses that support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial and operational data to develop recommendations, perform scenario planning, and evaluate business opportunities and investments. Leverage data from multiple systems and reporting tools to deliver meaningful insights and enhance financial visibility across the organization. Collaborate with Finance and business partners across a diverse portfolio to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. Support process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements that increase efficiency and scalability across FP&A activities. Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects that support business priorities and strategic initiatives.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 5+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including experience partnering with business leaders and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA designation or CPA candidacy is considered an asset. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the organization. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience within the technology or telecommunications industry is preferred.

Salary Range: $86,800 - $130,200; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
