Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager

THE EMPLOYER Large national brokerage with well appointed office space Strong leadership team dedicated to empowering staff to thrive and achieve excellence
THE POSITION An experienced client manager responsible for supporting a book of business (midmarket) – industry sectors include construction and transportation Determine client needs, negotiate coverages and terms, respond to complaints and inquiries, and process transactions Provide top notch client service in a professional manner, including daily account management responsibilities, marketing insurance programs and leading the services team through the renewal process Managing insurer relationships and confident in negotiating with respect to supporting client needs Responsible to delegate, develop, and coach the Account Assistant to ensure timelines are being met and accuracy of documentation
MUST HAVES Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Commercial Lines – mid-large market preferred Level 2 general insurance license is required You are a self-starter with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities Open mind with a teachable personality Excellent written and verbal communication skills
