Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Toronto, ON, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office collaboration with the option to work from home for part of the week. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situations, and provide tailored advice on insurance, investments, and long-term financial strategies. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial plans, analyzing product options, explaining recommendations in clear language, and documenting all client interactions in line with regulatory and company standards. The role involves regular follow-up with clients to monitor progress, adjust plans as circumstances change, and ensure ongoing satisfaction with services. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal teams, stay current with financial markets and industry regulations, and participate in training or meetings as required. Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and experience interpreting financial data, products, and market trends. Proficiency in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design comprehensive, long-term client strategies. Knowledge of Investments and Financial Advisory practices to recommend appropriate solutions aligned with client risk profiles and objectives. Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent) are an asset. Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms. Demonstrated ethical judgment, client-centric mindset, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM tools, and standard office applications; strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both independent tasks and in-office collaboration with teams and clients.
