We are looking for a Director of Finance to join our dynamic team at Trophy Foods. Overview: The Director of Finance (DF) is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position is responsible for driving Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) discipline within the organization in order to maximize growth and ensure a cost mitigation culture across the organization. The role will collaborate closely with the Controller to ensure accurate, timely, financial insights that will support Trophy’s growth and cost management agenda.

The role will play a critical role in ensuring best in class financial business partner support, financial performance, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving strategic initiatives/cost control across the organization functions within the NA network.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Financial Leadership & Strategy Serve as a key advisor to the CFO on financial strategy, business performance, and risk management Overall accountability for monthly reporting to Board Design, develop, and maximize FP&A Team business acumen to identify opportunities for growth/margin enhancement, business process improvement, cost control, and cross functional leadership financial acumen through internal stakeholder business partner support. Translate corporate strategy into actionable financial plans and performance metrics Lead cross-functional financial initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow, and efficiency

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of FP&A Team budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making. Enhance financial performance forecasting accuracy/predictability through FP&A Team attention to detail, insightful business reporting, understanding of cost drivers, and delivery of proactive business partner support to internal stakeholders. Determine, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis. Accountable for the annual internal budget process roll out and delivery. Support CFO in annual strategic plan launch and execution.

Commercial Finance Partner with Commercial/NPD to understand customer contract, trade spend, and commercialization terms, costs, and margins. Partner with Sales and Commercial leadership to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, forecast predictability. Lead pricing, profitability analysis, and deal structuring to optimize financial outcomes. Evaluate customer, product, and channel performance. Provide FPA financial resource support for new and existing Commercial opportunities.

Operations/Supply Chain/Procurement Finance Provide dedicated Operations business partner support to measure, identify cost variance from standard, and support cost savings through monthly variance analysis. Identify and align on cost drivers within Pos/Supply Chain Supply and partner with Ops/Supply Chain stakeholders to drive out process costs, maximize ERP/systems capability, and ensure quality decision-making. Overall accountability of FP&A Team financial support for supply chain operations including cost management, inventory optimization, and logistics efficiency. Partner with procurement to understand cost trends/implications on margin, capture/drive cost savings initiatives across the network, and supplier performance management. Provide financial oversight for sourcing strategies and contract negotiations. Monitor and improve working capital, including inventory and payables.

FP&A Team Leadership/Ways of Working (WOWs) Foster a culture of cost management/financial acumen through building business partnerships, understanding internal manufacturing processes, and providing education, financial visibility, analysis, and decision support within and across Trophy departments/disciplines. Collaborate with Controller to ensure clarity of process, individual role accountability, teamwork through communication, and internal financial alignment. Support accurate and timely financial reporting, including variance explanations. Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting policies Align forecasting assumptions with accounting treatments and financial statements. Develop FP&A Team as experts in understanding of business/department challenges via defining business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making. Continuously optimize FPA Team org design to support business strategy Define and execute formal communication processes that ensure FPA Team have the timely information they need to be successful Create FP&A clarity of roll delivery expectations, and coach/develop/performance manage direct reports to ensure internal succession capability.

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements: Professional accounting designation (CPA) with undergraduate degree in business. Minimum of 7-10 years previous FP&A planning/forecasting/management reporting experience. Proven experience in CPG and/or food & beverage supporting a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical skills both within commercial manufacturing disciplines. Proven verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tell the story beyond the numbers and translate financial analysis into clear and insightful recommendations. Track record of building, motivating, and leading inspiring high-performance FP&A teams Strong level of computer literacy with exposure to JD Edwards and related financial reporting tools. Superior Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
