About the role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Analyst, Corporate Accounting, on a permanent basis within our Finance team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

What You’ll Do

Lead the analysis, implementation, and optimization of accounting systems, automation initiatives, and process improvements that enhance the efficiency of Accounts Payable and Processing functions across FCL and CRS. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business units, vendors, and consultants to evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions that align with organizational priorities. Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend system enhancements, improve internal controls, and support long-term strategic planning. Act as the accounting lead for strategic projects, providing guidance, coordinating implementation activities, and supporting organizational change management. Partner with Internal Audit and business leaders to strengthen compliance, implement audit recommendations, and ensure adherence to accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal controls. Develop and deliver education, recommendations, and process guidance to business partners to improve upstream processes, reduce inefficiencies, and support timely financial operations.

Who You’ll Work With

The Team: You will work closely with Corporate Accounting, Accounts Payable and Processing teams, Finance leaders, business units across FCL, and external vendors and consultants. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver strategic process improvements, support system enhancements, and help shape the future of finance operations.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

Have 3-6 years of progressively responsible accounting, financial analysis, or business process improvement experience. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Actively working towards a CPA designation.
