Senior Financial Analyst
Company Overview: I'm currently partnering with a growing private equity-backed organization in the infrastructure and construction services sector that is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to its finance team.
Location: Etobicoke, ON (100% onsite) Compensation: Up to $90,000 CAD base + bonus Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lean, collaborative environment and wants exposure to a multi-entity business experiencing significant growth across Canada and the U.S.
Must Have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of budgeting and forecasting experience Experience building and maintaining financial models Exposure to month-end close and financial reporting processes Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate financial insights to leadership A collaborative mindset and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
Nice-to-have: Experience with Power BI or Tableau
Key responsibilities include: Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes Building and maintaining corporate financial models Preparing executive-level financial reporting and KPI analysis Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Conducting ROI analysis, capital investment evaluations, and strategic business analysis Driving process improvements through reporting automation and business intelligence tools
The finance leadership team includes a CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, Controller, Financial Analysts, and Accounting staff, providing excellent mentorship and growth opportunities.
