About the Role Reporting to senior finance leadership, this position will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications across a portfolio of investment entities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical accounting and finance expertise with leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What You'll Do
Oversee fund and investment operations, including financial reporting, stakeholder communications, and coordination with external service providers
Support treasury activities, liquidity management, and capital-related transactions
Prepare, analyze, and present financial and operational performance reports for leadership and key stakeholders
Lead initiatives to enhance reporting processes, data management, and operational efficiency
Develop expertise in areas such as fund administration, valuations, performance measurement, and investor reporting
Support annual valuation processes, including financial model reviews, assumption analysis, and executive-level presentations
Coordinate and manage annual audit activities, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders
Ensure financial records, reporting processes, and governance practices comply with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
Prepare financial analyses and business insights to support strategic planning, forecasting, and decision-making
Assist with fundraising activities and the preparation of materials for prospective investors
Mentor, develop, and provide guidance to junior finance team members
Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analyses as required
What You Bring
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or investment finance
Strong financial systems knowledge and advanced Excel capabilities
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Experience leading projects and mentoring or managing junior team members
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across various functions
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
