Your Responsibilities Support the execution of the organization's IT SOX compliance program by performing testing of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Dependent Controls (ITDCs). Test controls across areas including logical access, change management, computer operations, backup and recovery, and application controls. Gather audit evidence and supporting documentation from IT teams, Finance, business stakeholders, control owners, and third-party vendors. Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, testing documentation, and supporting evidence in accordance with established audit methodologies. Assist with documenting control deficiencies, tracking remediation activities, and following up on management action plans. Coordinate with internal auditors, external auditors, and business stakeholders throughout the SOX testing cycle. Support senior auditors with audit execution while ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
Skills and Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in IT Audit, IT SOX Compliance, Technology Risk, Risk Advisory, or IT Controls. Hands-on experience performing IT SOX testing, including IT General Controls (ITGCs) and exposure to IT Dependent Controls (ITDCs). Strong understanding of SOX compliance from an IT audit and controls perspective. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. CPA designation (or in progress) and/or CISA (or pursuing) is considered a strong asset. Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, AWS, ERP systems, or similar business applications is an asset. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across IT, Finance, and business teams. Ability to learn quickly, follow established audit methodologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
