Tester V Location: Toronto, ON

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — 4 days in office, 1 day work from home

Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 5 months (with possibility of extension and conversion based on business needs and performance) Pay Rate: C$30.00–C$35.00 / Hour (CAD) Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours — 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary This role supports testing for new build user stories/Confluence and enhancements across single or multiple platforms within a collaborative, fast-paced financial services environment. The contractor will develop and execute test scenarios for functional system integration and acceptance testing, develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure quality applications, execute tests to ensure results achieve documented goals and objectives, and define criteria for testing and provide results analysis. The contractor will have access to customer data and will interact primarily with internal TD stakeholders. Meetings average 2–3 hours per day, and performance is measured by deliverables and timelines, which can be tight and complex at times.

Required Skills 10 years of experience as a Tester/QA Knowledge of in-house programming methodologies (Java, C , etc.) Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft platform and concepts Working knowledge of server administration and version control software (e.g., PVCS) Working to expert level knowledge of testing tools such as WinRunner, Mercury/Quicktest, and Mercury Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Self-motivated, well organized, able to work both independently and in a team environment Attention to detail; self-starter and adaptable

Preferred Skills ISTQB certification Agile experience Accessibility testing experience

Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)

Required Experience 10 years of experience as a Tester/QA (flexibility noted)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements Hybrid work model: 4 days in office, 1 day working from home; anchor days are flexible No overtime required No rotation required Training period includes TD onboarding, knowledge transfer, and shadowing Contractor will have access to customer data

Important Notes Interview process: 1–2 steps, virtual, approximately 1 hour, panel format with technical/problem-solving questions
