HYREON Talent Solutions has been exclusively retained by an established and reputable financial services practice in the insurance and wealth management sector to identify an Associate Financial Advisor (Wealth Specialist).

Location: Burlington, Ontario (Onsite) Type: Fixed-Term Employment (1 Year with Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)

Position Overview

This is a results-oriented advisory role focused on building and growing a client portfolio across life insurance and wealth/investment solutions throughout Ontario.

The successful candidate will operate from a Burlington-based office while serving clients across the province. This opportunity is best suited to a licensed advisor who brings an existing client base or a strong network and is looking to further grow their practice within an established platform.

Success in this role requires a proactive, self-driven approach to building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Manage, service, and grow a book of business across life insurance and wealth/investment products Provide life insurance solutions based on client needs and financial goals Develop and expand wealth/investment business through segregated funds and mutual fund products Actively build new client relationships through proactive prospecting, outreach, and networking Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional financial and insurance solutions based on client needs Deliver holistic, needs-based financial advice across insurance and investment solutions Conduct regular client reviews and maintain ongoing client relationships Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Achieve individual sales and growth targets while contributing to overall business objectives Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and dealer requirements

Qualifications & Requirements Mandatory Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, or related field preferred) Minimum 4 years of experience in insurance, wealth management, or a related advisory role Mutual Fund Licence (IFIC) — active and in good standing Life Insurance Licence (LLQP) — active and in good standing Preferred Existing book of business, ideally in the $5M–$6M range in investment Demonstrated ability to build and grow a client portfolio through personal or professional networks Proven track record of consistent client acquisition and revenue growth

What We’re Looking For A driven, self-motivated professional with strong accountability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Consistent and disciplined approach to client engagement and follow-up Strong interest in both wealth accumulation and protection strategies Ability to advise across both life insurance and investment solutions Compensation & Employment Details Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (1 year) Conversion Opportunity: Potential extension or permanent full-time employment based on performance Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 CAD annually Additional Compensation: Guaranteed bonus Commission on life insurance sales Performance-based bonuses tied to wealth/investment growth and overall targets Total Earning Potential: Approximately $120,000 – $130,000 CAD Vacation: 2 weeks annually Probation Period: 3 Months

Work Arrangement Location: Burlington, Ontario (Onsite) Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday Flexibility: Hybrid work options may be considered for the right candidate Territory: Ontario-wide client base
