About the role

Job Summary Provide clerical support for financial transactions, recordkeeping, and client inquiries in a banking and insurance environment. Ensure accurate processing of documents and adherence to established procedures and regulatory requirements. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers accurately and efficiently. Verify, reconcile and update account records and prepare periodic reports for internal use. Maintain and organize client files, documentation, and electronic records to ensure completeness and accessibility. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email or in person and provide information on account status and basic products or services. Prepare and process insurance forms, claims documentation, invoices, and other financial paperwork as required. Follow internal controls, security procedures and assist with audits and compliance-related tasks. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education or coursework in business, accounting or finance is an asset. Minimum one year of experience in a clerical, banking, insurance or financial services role preferred. Proficiency with office software (word processing, spreadsheets) and experience with data entry. Strong numeracy, attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive transactions accurately. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and follow regulatory and company procedures.
