Modernization Lead Toronto, ON- Hybrid (2 days per week in-person at Toronto office preferred) 12 Months Contract

Skills Required: Solution and Functional Architect (SAFA), Banking and Financial Technology, Obtaining Stakeholder Commitment Years Experience: 10 & Above

Role Descriptions: Top 3 Skills Required : Excellent Knowledge in Banking and Financial Services Experience with leading project discussions, stakeholder analysis, requirements gathering etc.. Has at least 3+ years of experience in evaluating and selecting appropriate modernization strategies for different business units

Top 3 Skills Preferred : Familiarity with the modern front-end and server side rendering frameworks Solution Architect and Problem Solving Excellent Communication (verbal, written) and influential skills

Others : Ability to ask the right questions to address any ambiguity Bring together business needs with vendor offerings Excellent Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth Collaboration & team skills - In-depth Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth Influence skills - In-depth Data driven decision making - In-depth

Educational Qualifications : Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, software engineering, IT etc., MBA with focus on Technology management Certifications on Cloud architectures

Roles and Responsibilities: Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Assists in the development of strategic plans. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards. Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives. Tracks metrics and milestones, makes recommendations for resolution and escalates as appropriate when issues arise. May network with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices. Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service. Focus is primarily on business/group within Client; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus. Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
