Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes to bring products from the production floor to store shelves across North America? At Nature’s Path, our manufacturing finance team plays a critical role in helping the business understand costs, improve performance, and make smarter decisions.
This role sits at the intersection of accounting and operations, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a complex manufacturing environment. We’re looking for an Accountant who enjoys solving problems, digging into data, and understanding how financial results connect to real-world operations. You’ll work closely with finance and operational leaders while building valuable experience in inventory, costing, reporting, and manufacturing finance.
What You’ll Do
Support full-cycle accounting activities related to manufacturing operations Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory, and cost trends Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support informed decision-making Assist with inventory accounting, costing, and operational financial analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and system optimization Assist with audits and compliance requirements across Canadian and U.S. operations Support ERP and reporting processes, including data validation and analysis
What We’re Looking For
Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline CPA designation completed or actively pursuing is an asset Manufacturing and/or CPG industry experience is required Solid understanding of inventory, costing, and manufacturing accounting principles Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Notes Located in: Richmond, BC (Hybrid) Periodic travel (3 trips per year approx.) to Blaine Washington + Sussex Wisconsin $80,000-$90,000 base salary + 10% bonus
