We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our team and support our team as we continue to grow.
Job Summary: This position will play a vital role in assisting with financial reporting and analysis. You will support the finance team in providing insights that drive informed business decisions, ensuring financial stability, and contributing to the company's growth and success in the agricultural sector. You will be part of an office team providing support to administrative tasks throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
- Support the monthly and annual financial closing processes
- Help track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with other departments (such as operations and sales,) to gather necessary data
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Google Docs (experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus, but not required
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
