Finance Manager, Accounting & Tax Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager, Accounting & Tax to oversee tax compliance, corporate accounting, and financial operations across a complex multi-entity structure. This role is ideal for a CPA with deep tax expertise and experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment entities, or private holding companies. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor on tax matters while ensuring the integrity of day-to-day accounting, reporting, and financial management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Planning, Compliance & Structuring Lead and coordinate corporate, trust, partnership, and individual tax compliance activities across the group Manage relationships with external tax advisors and review tax filings to ensure accuracy and timelines Support tax planning initiatives, corporate reorganizations, entity simplifications, and wind-up transactions Assess tax implications related to investments, financing arrangements, acquisitions, and intercompany transactions Monitor changes in tax legislation and recommend strategies to optimize tax efficiency and compliance
Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial information Review financial statements, working papers, and supporting schedules prepared internally and externally Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for investments, debt instruments, and intercompany transactions Maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
Investment & Corporate Finance Support Assist with investment analysis, due diligence, and financial evaluation of prospective opportunities Support acquisition reviews, financial modeling, and return analysis Monitor investment performance and prepare reporting packages for ownership and senior leadership Assist with cash management, debt administration, banking relationships, and capital planning initiatives
Corporate Administration & Advisory Review legal agreements, contracts, and corporate documents from financial, accounting, and tax perspectives Coordinate corporate maintenance activities, entity formations, and dissolutions Liaise with external legal counsel, auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions Provide financial and tax guidance to ownership and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
Qualifications CPA designation required 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting Strong knowledge of corporate, trust, partnership, and personal tax compliance Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private investment companies, or multi-entity corporate structures Demonstrated experience with tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and entity structuring Solid understanding of investment accounting, corporate finance, and financial analysis Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while operating independently in a dynamic environment
