Job Description What is the opportunity? The Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist is a self-starter who exudes energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm to take on any challenge that is presented to them within the RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc. (RBCWMFS Inc.) This role requires to be analytical and pays attention to details. As the Risk Assessment Insurance Specialist this person can pivot easily depending on the situation and circumstances presented to them. What will you do? Pre-Audit Preparation (For DS Branches) Compile and organize policy information packages for Branch Directors and audit teams Verify owner addresses and confirm IA licensing consistency Identify and flag Agent of Record (AOR) Transfer policies to branches, confirming all required documentation is filed in secure folders Conduct pre-audit readiness calls with branch teams using presentation materials Complete audit checklists to confirm branch preparedness Audit Support Facilitate DS branch audit calls and address technical or policy-related questions Provide post-audit guidance and follow-up support Policy Review & Compliance Conduct monthly sampling and review of approximately 35 policies Specialize in Universal Life and Whole Life product analysis Assess policy suitability and verify policies remain in good standing Collaborate with Estate Planning Specialists (EPS) to identify and resolve missing information Present findings to Senior Management Team and obtain approval for recommendations Must have: Minimum 2-5 years in a life and living benefits insurance role. Post-secondary studies in a related field. Life & Accident/Sickness Insurance License (LLQP) Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulatory requirements Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally with branch teams and management Proficiency in policy documentation and compliance procedures Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple audit cycles Nice-to-have: Bilingual (French) What’s in it for you?
