About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance & Accounting, the Accounting Manager will lead the general accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, a strong internal control environment, and compliance with audit, tax, and regulatory requirements. This position oversees month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls compliance, corporate tax activities, process improvement initiatives, and team development, while partnering closely with business leaders to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee general accounting activities including intercompany accounting, payroll and benefits accounting, fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and intangible assets. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain a strong internal control environment. Coordinate and oversee internal controls compliance activities, control testing, remediation plans, and audit requirements. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and coordinate annual audit deliverables. Manage corporate tax accounting, tax provisions, remittances, compliance activities, and interactions with external advisors and regulatory bodies. Act as a finance lead for ERP enhancements and process optimization initiatives. Drive AI-enabled automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting quality. Provide accounting guidance and business support to operational leaders while assisting with management reporting and strategic projects. Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You Core Accounting: Monthly close, payroll accounting, journal entry reviews, account reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany accounting. Audit & Compliance: Internal and external audit support, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Tax: Corporate income tax and experience managing regulatory matters and correspondence. People Leadership: Team management, coaching, and development experience.
