About the role

Required

Reporting to the manager of Wealth Management and Insurance Risk Monitoring, you’ll join a strategic team within the second line of defence. As a senior investment risk management advisor, you support senior management in identifying, assessing and managing risks related to the organization’s investment portfolios, while contributing to informed decision-making and value creation. You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to clearly and effectively convey complex issues to a variety of audiences. You have a proven ability to navigate strategic and evolving environments, deliver tangible results and create added value through high-level critical thinking. You are also skilled at preparing strategic documents for executive bodies, including the management committee and board of directors, to support decision-making at the highest level. More specifically, you will be required to :

Develop and implement investment risk management frameworks tailored to the organization’s needs Produce rigorous analyses and strategic recommendations for executive committees and the board of directors Collaborate closely with investment, finance and compliance teams to ensure an integrated view of risk Monitor financial market developments and regulatory trends to anticipate their impact on portfolios Provide leadership and influence key internal parties to promote a proactive risk management culture.

What You Bring To The Table

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, actuarial science or a related field A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including at least four years in portfolio management or investment risk management Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Knowledge of French is required Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
