As an Associate Advisor, you will work with the Investment Advisor team and be responsible for providing proactive advice and support to our clients, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role. What will you do? Provide world class client service to our valued clients Manage and enhance client relationships through executing the investment and wealth strategies of the IA as well as engaging financial planning and other wealth management resources of the team and RBC DS more broadly Effective client communications (written and verbal), by phone, e-mail, and in-person Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners. Help build and execute business plans, Wealth Management objectives and client service plans. Support the IA by identifying and assisting growth of new business opportunities Event planning What do you need to succeed? Must-have 5-10 years of experience in the investment field. Approval as a Registered Representative with CIRO Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT) University degree Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-have 4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills Highly developed client service skills What’s in it for you?
