Job Description The Role

We are looking for an Account Supervisor with a strong digital and integrated marketing background to join our team here in Toronto. This person will be specifically working on one of McCann’s work on one of McCann’s biggest pieces of business on the agency’s largest account.

In this role, you will work in a team assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and projects of varying sizes, ensuring flawless delivery that meets the client’s needs This client in particular sits in a very competitive industry, requiring us to leverage all areas of creative, strategy, production and digital to help the client maintain leadership in the category.

What you will do…

• Work with the client on a daily basis to translate business and communication needs into digital and traditional executions with the help of the project manager and production team members.
• Mange the client budgets for the client’s portfolio while working with finance to ensure the accuracy of invoicing, budget control reports, and revenue forecasting.
• Lean into the strategic side of the house, infusing your expertise to influence the work and help to identify creative ideas in their infancy.
• Develop strong relationships with clients as well as agency counterparts on the Digital, Creative, Strategy and Production teams.
• Build and manage relationships with team members and partner agencies that are working remotely and/or in various markets across the country.
• Serve as an advocate and coach to the account team to help the day-to-day business run smoothly.

Who you will be…

• Team player.
• 4+ years of experience in advertising or related disciplines.
• Experience with the agriculture industry considered an asset.
• Critical thinking – ability to onboard and comprehend information in context and appropriately apply it to move things forward.
• Crisp thinker and communicator – verbally, visually and in writing.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively with a focus on attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on several projects simultaneously.
• Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build and deliver presentations.
