Senior Financial Analyst

We are helping our global client in Brampton with a Sr Financial Analyst search. This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid work model, benefits and more. This is a great opportunity for those from manufacturing/construction industries with strong costing/FP&A experience along with financial accounting.
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Analyze financial results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key trends and performance drivers. Collaborate with business leaders to validate assumptions and improve financial performance. Support forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning activities. Develop and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and product costing. Analyze product costs, margins, and cost components, while partnering with Operations and Accounting to ensure costing accuracy. Perform ad hoc financial analyses and provide insights to support business decisions. Assist with insurance renewals, acquisitions, business integrations, and other strategic projects. Recommend and implement improvements to financial reporting, processes, controls, and data integrity.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA designation required. 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance. Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting. Experience with product costing or cost modelling is preferred.
