Job Description: Preferred Qualifications Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and lead end-to-end Salesforce solutions across enterprise-grade implementations. The role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Lightning, Apex development, integrations, and hands-on experience with enterprise clouds such as Salesforce including Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing Salesforce solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design, development, and deployment across multiple orgs/environments Architect and develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce (as needed) Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs with external systems Lead development efforts across Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Experience Cloud implementations Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Salesforce solutions Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to define system requirements Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers Ensure coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are followed Optimize Salesforce performance, data model design, and automation processes Participate in release planning, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on Salesforce ecosystem. Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Lightning (LWC, Aura) Advanced proficiency in Apex programming (Triggers, Classes, Batch, Queueable, Future methods) Strong integration experience using: REST APIs SOAP Web Services Bulk API / Data Loader frameworks Deep experience in Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud Strong understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, roles, sharing rules, permission sets) Experience with Salesforce data modeling and governor limits optimization Ability to lead technical discussions and drive architecture decisions Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Leadership Expectations Act as technical lead for Salesforce development teams Guide design reviews, code reviews, and architecture decisions Mentor junior and mid-level developers Drive delivery quality and ensure alignment with business objectives Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Preferred / Nice to Have Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications Experience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of DevOps practices for Salesforce Experience in Financial Services domain (banking, wealth management, insurance) Experience with data migration and large-scale enterprise implementations Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work in fast-paced agile environments Strong ownership mindset and delivery accountability Who We Are: TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
