By comparing coverage options and pricing, Agincourt Insurance Brokers helps clients make informed decisions and feel confident in their protection. The organization values personalized service, transparency, and long-term relationships with policyholders. Role Description The Insurance Broker is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajax, ON. In this position, the broker will meet with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide advice on suitable Auto and Home Insurance products, and prepare tailored quotes from various insurers. Daily responsibilities include reviewing coverage options, explaining policy terms and conditions, processing applications and renewals, and managing policy changes. The broker will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain accurate client records in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with insurers, staying current on industry trends, and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with a strong understanding of personal lines such as Auto and Home coverage. Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Retirement Planning to support holistic client advice and long-term risk management. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and conflict resolution. Relevant provincial insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain it promptly) and knowledge of applicable regulations. Ability to analyze client needs, compare policy options from multiple insurers, and present recommendations clearly. Proficiency with brokerage management systems, standard office software, and digital communication tools. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously. Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or financial services environment is an asset.
