What we offer Mattamy’s Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) offers the unique opportunity to accelerate your career development, business knowledge and leadership skills through 30 months of rigorous placement within our finance teams while simultaneously working towards attaining your Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation. What you’ll do Based out of our Canadian Corporate Office in Mississauga, Associates in the Mattamy FLDP program will have Financial Analyst responsibilities which include ensuring that financial information is prepared and analyzed with a high degree of accuracy and on a timely basis. Additionally, they will be expected to support and participate in driving finance initiatives, with exposure to Divisional and Corporate Finance teams, functions and roles. The 30-month Finance Leadership Development Program is structured as two, 15-month rotations in the following: Financial Reporting Financial Planning & Analysis or Operations Finance You will hone your leadership skills and technical knowledge to help drive incremental value and change by: Gaining technical aptitude in consolidation, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting Collaborating on cross functional teams in order to design, develop and implement various projects. Developing and demonstrating your competence on complex cross-functional projects that stretch beyond most new college graduate positions. Developing business knowledge and insight into process improvement initiatives
As a FLDP Associate you will have an individualized development plan, receive regular coaching, mentoring and feedback and will provide day to day business support within your placements. This program’s intention is to prepare our future generation of business leaders within finance and accounting. Mattamy is an accredited employer with CPA Ontario and this program is accredited to meet the practical work experience requirements for achieving your CPA designation. All applicants to the program are required to be in pursuit of their CPA designation and plan to write (or have written) the CFE, which Mattamy is pleased to offer time and cost support towards. What you bring Bachelor’s Degree (expected graduation by June 2026) in Business or Accounting required. Proven academic success (3.0 GPA minimum) Must be in pursuit of their CPA designation and plan to write (or have written) the CFE. Must have completed pre-requisite courses for CPA PEP registration by FLDP program start date. Demonstrated leadership experience. The desire to work in a team environment and take a proactive leadership role. The drive to actively contribute to both personal and company-wide goals through creative and innovative thinking. Proven strength in analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership. Compensation The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $87,500.00. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply. You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
