We are looking for a Senior Canadian Tax Analyst responsible for tax provisions, tax compliance and continuous improvement initiatives within a complex IFRS environment. Responsibilities When your actions lead to success: Prepare income tax provisions and tax note disclosures for Canadian legal entities and the consolidated group; Participate in the full Canadian corporate income tax return preparation process; Prepare reconciliations between tax provisions and prior-year income tax returns ("true-ups"); Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and Regulation 52-109; Actively participate in the continuous improvement and automation of tax processes to enhance operational performance and support the evolution of the tax function; Support the identification and implementation of tax optimization opportunities; Participate in special projects, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions; Respond to ad hoc tax-related requests. Qualifications When your expertise drives us: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation required; Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in tax compliance and tax accounting; Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate tax legislation; Tax education: CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course (formerly CICA In-Depth Tax Course) or a Graduate Diploma in Taxation; Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; Knowledge of Taxprep; Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Longview is considered an asset; Bilingualism: French and English.
