About the role
Our client, a well-established and growing CPA firm in the Greater Toronto Area, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its expanding Tax practice — with a clear, realistic path to Principal or Partner within 1–2 years.
This is a great fit for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with private companies, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth clients, and who's ready to take on increasing leadership responsibility.
What you'll do: 🔹 Manage a portfolio of private company and HNW tax clients 🔹 Lead corporate and personal tax compliance engagements 🔹 Provide tax planning and advisory services — reorganizations, estate & succession planning, owner-manager planning 🔹 Review complex tax returns and identify planning opportunities 🔹 Research and resolve complex tax issues 🔹 Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor 🔹 Mentor and coach junior tax professionals 🔹 Partner closely with Tax Partners on client engagements and practice development
What you bring: ✅ CPA designation ✅ CPA In-Depth Tax Course completed ✅ 9+ years of Canadian public accounting tax experience ✅ Strong technical knowledge of Canadian corporate & personal taxation ✅ Proven experience leading client relationships and engagements end-to-end ✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills
