The Senior Financial Analyst, Life Sciences Segment will support the planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities for the Life Sciences Segment (LSS) of ATS. The role will be primarily focused on FP&A and segment consolidation, including monthly results analysis, forecast coordination, annual operating plan support, and preparation of insights for segment leadership. This role will work closely with finance teams across LSS divisions in Canada, the United States, and Europe to consolidate financial and operational performance, prepare segment-level reporting, and provide clear analysis to support business decisions. The position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, business partnership skills, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for leadership. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support the monthly consolidation and analysis of Life Sciences Segment financial and operational results across divisions.• Prepare segment-level FP&A deliverables, including monthly performance packages, forecast updates, annual operating plan support, and ad hoc financial analysis.• Analyze division performance, revenue, margin, cost trends, backlog, working capital, and key operational metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and business drivers.• Coordinate with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent submission of financial information for segment consolidation.• Assist in the preparation of financial materials for business reviews, forecast reviews, annual operating plan discussions, and leadership presentations.• Develop clear variance analysis and commentary to explain performance against plan, forecast, and prior periods.• Be responsible for managing management cost center at segment level • Support the identification of key business drivers and performance indicators across divisions and revenue streams.• Prepare and maintain segment reporting requirements, including recurring management reports, scorecards, and supporting schedules.• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, templates, and analytical tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight generation.• Perform benchmarking, trend analysis, and business case support using internal and external data where applicable.• Partner with other members of the Finance team on special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc leadership requests.• Ensure all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.• Follow applicable ATS Finance policies, procedures, and control requirements as part of day-to-day responsibilities. Additional Information QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • A university degree or college diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is required.• CPA, MBA, or progress toward professional accounting or finance designation is considered an asset.
