Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Remote Guidewire BillingCenter Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in Canada.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Business Analyst to conduct a comprehensive assessment of an existing Guidewire BillingCenter implementation. In this engagement, you will analyze current billing and delinquency processes, identify operational challenges and process inefficiencies, evaluate system integrations, and develop practical recommendations to improve automation, business processes, and alignment with Guidewire best practices. This is a time-boxed 10-week engagement with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Assess current Guidewire BillingCenter billing and delinquency processes, identifying root causes of operational challenges and opportunities for improvement. Analyze business processes, data flows, integrations, production issues, and process dependencies across Guidewire BillingCenter and related systems. Develop current and future-state process maps, document findings, and recommend improvements that leverage standard Guidewire functionality while reducing manual effort and customization. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to establish a common understanding of end-to-end billing processes. Produce weekly status reports, assessment findings, implementation roadmaps, and other engagement deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience. Minimum 5 years of experience gathering business requirements, resolving production issues, and documenting enhancements. Expert-level experience working with Guidewire BillingCenter as a Business Analyst. Strong experience documenting business requirements, epics, features, and user stories. Advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques and requirements elicitation, including business, technical, non-functional, security, and testing requirements. Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies. Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Guidewire InsurCloud for Canada experience. Experience within the Canadian Property & Casualty insurance industry. CBAP, CCBA, or another recognized Business Analysis certification. Experience assessing Guidewire BillingCenter configurations and recommending best-practice solutions.
Compensation
Salary Range: $80.00 – $100.00 per hour
