About the role

Summary We are seeking a Business Performance & Operations Analyst to act as a trusted strategic partner for our technology leadership team. This role goes beyond traditional manual reporting to turn portfolio, operational, delivery, and productivity data into actionable insights and concrete business recommendations. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major banks.

Working Model: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Toronto

Key Responsibilities Build and maintain comprehensive executive scorecards, performance dashboards, and operational reports to enhance leadership visibility. Analyze portfolio and delivery data to spot trends, risks, and execution gaps, translating raw numbers into actionable business recommendations. Audit incoming information and constructively challenge vague assumptions to ensure overall reporting accuracy. Actively track operational metrics, commitments, and outstanding risks to drive team accountability through to final closure. Streamline existing workflows and improve reporting efficiency by leveraging Excel, Power BI, and the Microsoft 365 suite.

Must-Have Requirements You bring two to five years of professional experience in business analysis, performance analytics, or business operations. You possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and have a proven track record of creating high-quality dashboards and executive presentations. You have strong critical thinking capabilities with a demonstrated ability to connect data metrics directly to high-level business outcomes. You feature exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to confidently deliver insights and guide cross-functional teams. You are highly self-motivated and comfortable making decisions when working with incomplete or ambiguous information.
