The Director, Finance NA Logistics & Supply Chain plays a key role in managing NA Logistics finance, partnering to drive overall supply chain network decisions, and is the Finance business partner to Head of Supply Chain NA. This position is accountable for logistics (freight & storage) financial management; standard cost, variance, and month-end close analysis, along with budgets/estimates driving forward-looking freight and storage decisions for the North America region. The Director, Finance will focus on the development and implementation of key performance indicators and reporting to identify opportunities to manage costs and implement best practices; along with implementation of PowerBI financial dashboards, and leveraging AI tools to drive accelerated financial insights. This position is also accountable as the finance lead for supply chain design initiatives, such as network (DC) design, and network optimization. This responsibility includes having financial leadership to the initiative, and an in-depth understanding of all financial drivers to the project. This role will be a critical team member of the initiative (network, capital investments, expansion, sourcing etc.), with high profile and significant visibility within the organization. Finally, the Director of Finance will be the finance business partner to Head of Supply Chain NA. This role will be critical partner to the Supply Chain Leadership Team, as key finance contact within the NA organization. Responsibilities include partnering with supply chain, planning and logistics functional leads, helping provide financial oversight to forward manage the business; include the assembly and analysis of financial data supporting the planning and decision-making processes that ensure profitability and sustainability of McCain Foods. This position identifies opportunities and risks, ensures breakdowns and challenges are being called out and actioned. This position works collaboratively with others, institutes best practices, and challenges the acceptance of status quo demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing. Lead team of three, developing financial capability and leadership within NA Finance Understand in detail the financials associated with logistics spend, freight & storage Understand in detail the financials associated with each strategic project Financial partner to Head of Supply Chain NA Have collective knowledge of all sub-work streams within the strategic project, track progress and ensure executional excellence Facilitate coordinated action across the strategic project Accelerate decision making with financial lens Work with NA SLT members / NA Leadership to ensure key stakeholder commitment and engagement to core strategic initiatives Overall knowledge center for the NA finance function for key strategic initiatives What you’ll need to be successful. Minimum +6 years experience in financial analysis, financial planning, accounting, and/or supply chain is required Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain. MBA, preferred; CPA designation preferred Prior experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for accuracy and timeliness for work performed Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies strongly preferred Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner High analytical and scientific aptitude; Ability to analyze, synthesize data and explain to senior leadership Excellent Systems and Excel skills, with a focus on leveraging AI Ability to lead team of individuals, instilling pride and commitment to work, high engagement Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Must be a self-starter with ability to manage and delegate responsibilities proactively within the team Deep interest in strategy, supply chain and cost management About McCain. CAD annually + Bonus eligibility + Long-term incentive eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
