About KeyStone Financial – www.keystocks.com is a web-based stock market research firm with a simple do-it-yourself (DIY) strategy designed to help clients create unique stock portfolios that beat the market long-term. KeyStone's primary offering is independent research (BUY/SELL/HOLD advice) on individual Canadian and U.S. Stocks. We also conduct paid educational-based Webinars for prospective clients and produce a Stock Talk Podcast (YouTube Show). Over the past 25 years, Keystone has established a solid brand via our strong track record and media presence (radio and television). We are looking to hire a talented and energetic candidate for a full-time position. Pacific Time Zone - Canada. Job Description: The position will be unique and diverse, and includes a range of tasks from Digital Marketing and Client Communication to Financial Copywriting (with in-house analyst assistance). Training is available. An interest in investing and learning about the financial markets is an asset.
KeyStone offers a great deal of flexibility and long-term potential to grow. You will work from home and must have a place to set up a small home office. There may be some travel required. All equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc.) will be provided.
The position will have a dual focus split between Digital Marketing and Client Services, and Podcast production. Digital Marketing will include marketing our services, Stock Talk Podcast/YouTube Show, and Webinar/Seminars. The role will include crafting a full marketing strategy utilizing our Customer Relationship Management software to create leads and cross-sell to current and past clients. Additionally, the candidate will perform digital client services functions and assist in the planning and implementation of our new website refresh.
The specific elements of this position include: Creating a full marketing strategy utilizing our Customer Relationship Management software to create leads and cross-sell to current and past clients. Digital marketing (lead generation): Expertise with digital ad (social media) programs: META (Facebook), Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc. Excellent written and spoken English skills - Writing, repurposing, and developing original copy for the website, social media, and DIY Webinar materials, ads, and advertorials to market to existing, past, and potential clients as well as media outlets. Assistance in the creation of social and traditional media campaigns to drive attendees to KeyStone’s DIY Stock Webinars, both in-person and online, including uploading content on our website and client portal. Creation of a digital client onboarding and retention roadmap. Simple podcast clip repurposing and digital short creation - basic familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent is an asset. Creating increased awareness for our Weekly Stock Talk Podcast/YouTube Show – increase subscribers. Candidate Profile: We are looking for a hard-working, creative, organized, self-starter with the ability to learn independently and a deep desire to succeed. A marketing (digital) degree/diploma is an asset. Digital marketing platform skills – familiarity and the ability to learn standard digital marketing platforms including Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. Experience in the full paid ad campaign cycle is a benefit. Familiarity or willingness to learn Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc., or equivalents such as DaVinci Resolve, etc. is an asset – training can be provided. Ability and willingness to understand and learn to help create social media content and campaigns via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. An interest/experience in investing and learning about the financial markets is an asset. Compensation Competitive compensation structure (including medical and dental after 3 months) based on experience with opportunities to increase compensation commensurate with performance. The contract will include a 3-month trial and a renewable 6-month term. The intent is for the position to be a long-term, permanent position for a career-driven individual to add to our high-quality team!
