About the Project You will be part of our Hazel McCallion LRT project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects.

About the Job We are hiring a Accountant to step into an existing role on our Accounting, Finance and Control team on the Hazel McCallion LRT. This position reports to the Chief Accountant.

What You Will Be Doing? Maintain the integral accounting processes that support the organization. Ensure the timely and accurate entry of data into our ERP system (SAP). Partner with the rest of the organization striving to maximize profitability and safeguard assets through efficiency of routine processes and standardization. Assist with miscellaneous monthly close, consolidation, and reporting responsibilities. Prepare various monthly account reconciliations Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Demonstrates the “Values” of the team and supports its efforts of excellence.

What We Are Looking For? Degree: Associates Degree / Bachelors Preferred Subjects: Accounting/Finance Demonstrates a basic understanding of financial information & aas the knowledge to work proficiently with income statements and balance sheets Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, formulas, reconcile, and report on large datasets accurately and efficiently 3+ years of experience Analytical and problem-solving skills, evaluate information accurately while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and ensuring a good level of accuracy in all work, hold Confidentiality to the highest regards. Experience using shared drives and Procore for document management, with the ability to efficiently store, organize, retrieve, and maintain project documentation in accordance with established processes. Good written communication skills, with the ability to correspond professionally and effectively with suppliers & subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual, documentation, and project requirements.

Expected Compensation Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $60,000.00 CAD - $75,000.00 CAD The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependant on the specific project to which you are assigned.
