We operate on principles of transparency, financial education, and long-term client relationships. Role Description We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Montreal team as Mutual Funds & Financial Services Representatives. This is an independent contract position with a flexible, hybrid work structure.

You will start by learning the foundations of client development—meeting with individuals and families to help them organize their finances and understand investment options like mutual funds. As you grow, leadership opportunities are available where you will transition into training, mentoring, and managing your own team of licensed representatives.

No prior financial experience? We will train you. We provide comprehensive study support to help you obtain your required provincial financial and mutual fund licensing. Key Responsibilities Client Development: Connect with individuals and families to conduct basic financial reviews and introduce educational concepts. Financial Guidance: Help clients understand mutual funds and basic financial strategies in clear, everyday terms. Leadership & Growth: Build, train, and manage a team of licensed representatives as you scale your business. Compliance & Care: Assist clients with onboarding paperwork and maintain accurate records according to industry regulations. Compensation & Benefits Uncapped Commission Earnings: This is an independent contractor (1099) role. Your upfront income is directly tied to your personal production, client solutions, and team production, offering unlimited earning potential. Building a Book of Business (Recurring Income): Beyond upfront commissions, you can build long-term, recurring revenue through Dealer Service Fees (DSFs). As you help clients invest and grow their assets over time, you earn ongoing trailing compensation for maintaining high-quality service. Performance Bonuses: Regular opportunities for production-based bonuses and leadership overrides as you build and coach your team. Flexible Schedule: Complete control over your hours, allowing you to build your business full-time or transition into it part-time around your current commitments. Licensing Support: Access to structured training programs and study materials to help you successfully pass your provincial licensing exams. Qualifications People-First Mindset: You genuinely love teaching, helping others, and building long-term relationships. Coachability: Passionate about financial education and fully willing to go through our training program to become provincially certified. Communication: Ability to explain concepts with patience and clarity. Proficiency in English is required; French language skills are a strong asset for the Quebec market. Work Authorization: Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold an Open Work Permit.
